Wetland supports a variety of ecosystem types, like ponds, marshes, swamps and bogs. They improve the quality of the environment through various ecological functions. Wetlands are protected by law in Quebec (Environmental Quality Act (EQA, C. Q-2). LPT Enviro is often mandated to conduct wetlands inventories (type 1, 2 and 3 ) and deliniate their boundaries. Shoreline delineation and determining high water mark are also part of our expertise.
